What started as a simple side hustle during maternity leave has grown into something I never imagined.

Like many new moms, I found myself looking for ways to contribute a little extra income while still pursuing something that felt creative and fulfilling. As an avid reader, I decided to combine my love of all things bookish with my God-given entrepreneurial spirit and opened an Etsy shop selling digital bookish downloads.

What began as a handful of printable bookmarks and reading trackers quickly grew into something more. As readers started discovering my shop and supporting my work, I realized there was a demand for thoughtful, beautiful bookish products that celebrated the joy of reading.

Today, The Chic Reader has expanded beyond digital downloads to include apparel, reader accessories, market events, and a growing community of romance and romantasy readers.
